What to do when you get a Salesforce Authentication Error due to IP Restrictions

If you are experiencing problems setting up your Salesforce connecter in Hoopla, this may be due to IP restrictions within your company's Salesforce account.

How do I know if my Salesforce Account has IP restrictions?

When clicking the "Authenticate with OAuth" button, you will be directed to your Salesforce account to authenticate. If your Salesforce account has IP restrictions, you will see the following error message:

"Unable to authenticate with these credentials due to IP restrictions in Salesforce."

How do I proceed with IP restrictions in place?

Please have your SFDC admin add as a log-in IP range for any profiles used by Hoopla users. You should then be able to authenticate and log in!
