What is the recommended resolution for Menus images?

The recommended resolution for images used in menus depends on the orientation of your screen. Whether your screen is horizontally or vertically oriented, Raydiant will automatically lay out your Menu to look great. If you’re not familiar with how to rotate your screen, you can find a step-by-step guide here.

Below is information to keep in mind to make sure that the image you are using will catch the eyes of your customers.

Horizontal Screens

If your image is taller than it is wide, Raydiant will place your image to the right of your Menu.

  • For a taller and narrower image like this one, we recommend using an image with a height of 1080 pixels. The width can vary, but if you want to make sure none of your image is cut off, keep the width to less than 600 pixels.

If your image is wider than it is tall, Raydiant will place your image at the top of your Menu.

Vertical Screens
